Culture is Either Accelerating Your Business, or Quietly Derailing It
I don't start with solutions. I start with what's actually broken. Mid-market CEOs bring me in when they're done guessing and ready for a diagnosis and sustainable strategic reset.

If the Answer Were in the Data, You’d Have Fixed It by Now.
Most C-suite leaders aren’t short on information. They know turnover is up. They can see where leadership alignment is thin. They feel the drag when a solid strategy loses momentum somewhere between planning and execution.
What they don’t have is a way to act on it. Because the real drivers of organizational performance aren’t visible in a spreadsheet, they’re in the dynamics running beneath the numbers.
That’s what I surface. And that’s where our work together begins.
The Purpose-Powered
Performance™ Framework
I use a proprietary, values-based framework as a diagnostic tool: rating each of the nine accelerators based on where your organization actually stands versus where it needs to be. Some will be firing. Some will need focus. Some will explain why the same problems keep coming back.
From there, the work follows a clear path: clarifying where you’re headed, measuring what’s actually driving performance, surfacing what’s underneath the symptoms, aligning your leadership and systems, and reinforcing the changes that matter most. Not as a rigid methodology, but as a practical sequence that keeps the work moving and the results visible.
Most Culture Consultants Have Studied
Organizations From the Outside.
I Ran Them From the Inside.
In 2004, I was handed Rogers Communications’ largest division, a $1B+ operation and the company’s worst performer. Under my leadership, it became a top performer. That track record has been recognized: I’m one of Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women and Canadian Women in Communications' Woman of the Year.
Most engagements end where the real work begins. A plan without implementation is just a well-organized intention. It’s what I call a FAD: fun and done. I don’t hand you a roadmap and disappear. I stay through the hard part, because that’s where results actually happen.
Most consultants bring rigorous methodology without operational experience. Most operators have the experience without the diagnostic tools. The Purpose-Powered Performance™ Framework sits at the intersection of both, anchored by the Barrett Values Centre Culture Values Assessment, a culture-specific tool used by more than 9,000 organizations worldwide that measures what’s actually driving behaviour, not just how people feel about it.
I've written the book on this work. Two, actually. IGNITE Your Culture is available now, and People Problems Solved is coming soon, practical frameworks and hard-won insight you can begin applying before we've even had a conversation.
From Fragmented to Focused: CN Police Service
When Steve Covey became Chief of the CN Police Service, he had a clear vision for his organization, but was getting nowhere with it. Leadership wasn’t aligned. Strategic clarity wasn’t translating into operational momentum. The gap between where the organization was and where it needed to go felt difficult to close.
“As I always say, be careful what you ask for, if you ask your team what they think, then be ready to put in the effort to act upon their valuable feedback. This is where Carol’s help and guidance really came into play. She was truly with me every step of the way.” ~ Chief Covey
We started with a culture-specific assessment that measured what was actually driving behaviour inside the organization, not just how people felt about it. Focused conversations surfaced the root causes beneath the symptoms. Hands-on work with the leadership team translated those insights into action. Together, these steps produced a Blueprint for Action™: a concrete, prioritized path forward that gave the organization the clarity it needed to move.
The result wasn’t just a better culture score. Crossing and trespassing incidents dropped by approximately 50%. In the greater Chicago area, theft of customers’ goods, once a significant problem, dropped to near zero.
“Although I had the clearest vision possible for my organization, I was getting nowhere. The strategy presented was key in helping our leadership team ignite our organization. It put us on the right track in a short time.” ~ Chief Covey
What Changes When Culture Becomes a System
Leaders who go through the Purpose-Powered Performance™ process describe the same shift: things that once felt mysterious no longer do. The patterns become visible. The path forward becomes clear.
More specifically, what changes:
When culture becomes your operating system, people problems stop running the business. Leadership becomes lighter. Results become steadier. And the organization you imagined leading finally begins to appear.
What Leaders Say
